Here at The Mad Merchant Coffee House, we are passionate about delivering the finest coffee experience. 

Our journey began with a simple aim: to create a haven for coffee lovers where quality and community thrive. Our extensive drink's menu has brought together differing coffee styles from all over the world, along with premium loose leaf teas & superfood lattes. Each and everyone of our beverages is lovingly handcrafted using fine, top quality ingredients and garnishes.

Feeling peckish? Then come and indulge yourself in an array of select breakfasts, lunch dishes & naughty treats, all cooked fresh to order using both local an international specialist ingredients.

Situated in an historic 16th Century Merchant's house on Plymouth's oldest cobbled street, New Street, our quirky Coffee House offers a cosy first floor coffee lounge, intimate ground floor coffee bar and a stunning Mediterranean style walled garden for the summer months.

We are a small family owned and run business. We offer each and every one of our visitors a warm, friendly welcome with impeccible service.
